Exactly what it says. If we cannot recover your data or repair your device, you pay nothing. No diagnostic fee, no assessment charge, no "we tried" fee. The only exception is if you specifically request a paid service regardless of outcome — which we confirm explicitly before starting. Standard assessment is always free.
Your files are accessed only to the extent required for recovery — never browsed, never copied for any other purpose. All recovered data is permanently wiped from our systems after you confirm delivery. We can provide a written data handling agreement before any work begins.
When a national service "accepts" your device, they often act as a broker — shipping it to another city or province, adding weeks of transit. Transit introduces risk, delay, and removes direct accountability. Your device at our Surrey lab means the person who assessed it is the one who recovers it, and you can walk in and talk to them anytime.
Every job starts with a free assessment. After diagnosis, you receive a flat-rate quote. The quote is the price — we don't add fees for complexity discovered during the job. You approve before work begins. Payment is only due when the job is complete and you've verified the outcome.
We tell you before you pay. If we recover 80% of your files, we show you exactly which files we recovered and which we didn't — and you decide whether the partial result is worth the quoted price. You are never asked to pay for an unknown outcome.
"Impossible" from a shop using consumer software is very different from "impossible" using PC-3000 hardware, chip-off extraction tools, and JTAG access. We regularly recover data from cases other shops have turned away. Free assessment — we'll tell you honestly what we think.
