Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the RecoveryMaster website and services. By accessing our website, requesting a diagnostic, submitting a device, or using any of our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must discontinue use of our website and services immediately.

2. Services Provided

RecoveryMaster provides professional data recovery, device repair, diagnostics, and related technical services for computers, mobile devices, storage systems, and electronic equipment. All services are subject to device condition, technical feasibility, and customer approval. Submission of a device does not guarantee successful repair or data recovery.

3. Diagnostics and Approval

A free diagnostic may be provided to assess the issue and determine recovery or repair likelihood. In certain complex cases, additional evaluation time may be required. A clear quote will be provided before any paid work begins, and no service will proceed without customer authorization.

4. Customer Responsibility and Ownership

By submitting a device, you confirm that you are the legal owner of the device and its contents or have full authorization from the legal owner. You agree that the device does not contain illegal content. RecoveryMaster reserves the right to refuse service if ownership cannot be verified or if the request violates applicable laws.

5. Risks and Limitation of Liability

Data recovery and repair services involve inherent risks, including partial or complete data loss, device instability, or permanent hardware failure. While RecoveryMaster uses industry-grade tools and controlled lab procedures, we are not liable for pre-existing damage, manufacturer defects, unsuccessful recovery attempts, or further damage resulting from severe prior conditions.

6. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise stated and are subject to applicable taxes. Diagnostic fees, parts costs, shipping charges, and expedited service fees may apply where relevant and will be disclosed prior to approval. Payment is due upon completion of approved services unless otherwise agreed in writing. Devices may be retained until full payment is received.

7. Warranty

Warranty coverage applies only to eligible repair services as stated on the final invoice. Warranty does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage after repair, unauthorized modifications, software issues unrelated to the repair, or misuse. Data recovery services generally do not include long-term storage of recovered data, and customers are responsible for backing up data after delivery.

8. Device Storage and Abandonment

Customers are responsible for collecting their devices promptly after service completion. Devices not picked up within 30 days may incur storage fees. Devices unclaimed after 90 days may be considered abandoned and disposed of in accordance with applicable laws.

9. Privacy and Confidentiality

RecoveryMaster handles customer information and recovered data with strict confidentiality and security-focused procedures. Personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share customer data except as required to complete services or comply with legal obligations.

10. Changes to Terms

RecoveryMaster reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of British Columbia.
